IIOA members’ comprehensive presence at GFSI 2019

The 2019 GFSI Food Safety Conference looks at ‘Emerging Challenges and the Future of Food Safety’.
With extensive certification and assurance services in the food sector, IIOA members are strongly represented at the Conference, providing a range of activities, including breakout sessions, stands in the exhibition and other activities to show their role in delivering safer food.
Of the IIOA members at the Conference:
Bureau Veritas are hosting a session on ‘Traceability and Blockchain: Revolution, Disruption, Evolution?’
DNV GL have a session entitled, ‘How Can We Co-Create the Products and the True Stories Our Consumers Expect, By Using Digital Technologies?’ They also launch the ‘DNV GL Survey Efficacy Study Results’, a joint survey carried out with GFSI.
Lloyd’s Register host a Tech Talk, ‘Combining Technology and Human Intelligence to Design Risk Based Audit Programmes’.
SAI Global host a session which will, ‘shine a light on the high-risk areas of supply networks following the journey of key ingredients’, at their ‘SAI Global: Setting the Table for Success’ event.
SGS have a session entitled, ‘Managing Supply Chain Risks – How Has the Food Industry Evolved in Recent Years?’
All the above IIOA members, plus BSI and Intertek, have stands in the Conference exhibition space so clients and perspective clients can discuss in greater detail how IIOA members can help deliver safer food through certification and assurance services.
