62368-1 Standards Come into Force December 20, 2020 – Are You Ready?

On December 20, 2020, IEC 60950-1, the global legacy standard for IT equipment will be replaced by IEC 62368-1, or its equivalent national versions.

EU – SVHC Candidate List Updated to Contain 209 Entries

On June 25, 2020, the ECHA added four new SVHCs to the Candidate List. The addition of these new SVHCs brings the total number of entries to 209.

Australia Updates Mandatory Safety Standards for Certain Toys

Australia has issued two instruments for certain toys. Projectile toys must comply with the new instrument from June 12, 2021 and aquatic toys must comply with the new requirements from June 12, 2022.
